Dive Club Information

Membership costs:  $20 per annum. Membership fees are used to subsidize boat dives, accommodation costs for interstate trips, and social functions.

Membership Application:  E-mail the Treasurer with your details or come to a meeting.

Club Meetings:  The club is not currently holding meetings.

Diving:  We dive all over Victoria in a variety of locations. We conduct long weekends away to the more remote areas and also conduct interstate and overseas trips. Recent major trips have been to Peterborough, Wilsons Prom and Port MacDonnell in SA. We tend to rotate our dive trips to include a wide variety of differing dives. Easy shore dives, night dives, cray dives (in season) and deep/wreck dives. Dives from the club boats cost $20 for the first dive and $10 for second dives done on the same day.

Boat Dives: All club organised boat dives are run using the club's Zodiacs.

Equipment:  The Clubs have their own boats sets of dive gear, wetsuits, tanks etc. We also recommend Aquatic Adventures for all your dive gear purchases and additional dive course requirements.

Courses:  The club has 3 PADI instructors as members. We run PADI Open Water courses and we also run Advanced, Rescue, Dive Master and Speciality courses as club activities. Advanced courses are essentially free for members as every club dive can be credited towards your Advanced course (small fee for certification & dive manual costs).

Cray Fish:  The current club record is a 4.95 Kg monster caught at Koonya Back Beach in 1994 by Doug Smith and Kathy Dexter.
